Inspired by Late Leader Shiekh Zayed
Following in late leader Shiekh Zayed’s footsteps, the United Arab Emirates is on a mission to steer the publishing industry in the Arab world, promote the importance of literary works and encourage youth to seek creative outlets. It’s a vision championed by the annual Abu Dhabi international Book Fair, returning from April 25 to May 1 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center. The 28th edition of the fair, spreads across 35000 square meters, will feature thousands of international titles as well as workshops and presentations from authors, academics, poets, publishers and many others. The fair will also showcase the 1000 years old history of Polish literature as it celebrate the European nation as this year of Zayed, horning the founding father who was eager to create a culture that acknowledge the importance of reading and producing literary works.
In accordance with the vision of the Late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, literature is a vital part of society and it is with great pride and honor that we have seen the Abu Dhabi International Book
Fair grow globally each year. The Abu Dhabi Book Fair Director is Abdulla Majed Al Ali said, the fair annually positions Abu Dhabi fundamental cultural role in the publishing  and literary industry worldwide and continues to act as a beacon of communication between creatives, authors, publishers, journalists and a forum for those interested in books and reading.
Aside from celebrating literature, the creative event will also future the Show Kitchen and illustrator Corner with visting painters, Calligraphers, Animators, Graphic Designers and comic artists from around the world.
